MY SUPER POWER!!!!!

On a weary rainy day their sat a young girl whos thoughts meandered throughout her head as she stared out the window gazing at the raindrops appearing on the windowsill. She looked puzzled as to what she should do on such a depressing day. Suddenly a thought occured that made her wish she was living in Paradise, where the wheather is warm and the palm trees sway in the cool ocean breeze. Out of the cold darkness of the thick ash-coloured rain clouds came a flash of light so bright it lit up the room. The girl struggled to open her eyes through the blinding light and looked straigt ahead. There appeared white puffy clouds and a clear blue sky so blue it looked like the ocean. When she looked down she could feel soft grains of what felt like sand brush accross her feet. Looking around the girl saw palm trees and coconuts scattered about the beach. All of a suddon she realized what she dreamed had turn into reality. Pinching herself to try and wake up, did no good. She was really living the life in Paradise under the beaming warm sunshine. There was one thing still missing as her eyes wandered around scanning the area. There seemed to be not a single person in sight. She thought if she could dream to live in paradise for one day maybe she could dream for some people to appear or dream for anything for that matter and it would come true. So the girl had no hesitation and jumped quickly to imagining people and shortly after that came true she knew life was good. Spending the entire day on the mysterious tropical island the girl had one last adventure she wanted to try before wishing to go home. She decided to try surfing which she had never done before. Before she knew it a huge wave had swept her out to sea and she had become lost. The girl had no idea where she was drifting and she began to panic, when all of a suddon she realized she had her imagination to save her. She pictured herself at home staring out her window gazing at the raindrops slowly dripping down the window sill. Nothing happened. She began to feel fatigue and gradually she began to fade away into the depths of the deep ocean. When she had finally taken her last breath, she saw an immense light and before she knew it she woke up and was sitting in her chair back at home. She stared out the window gazing at the raindrops falling down the window sill. That was enough adventure for one day.

Great job on the superpower article. Lots of detail, very few mechanical errors. Missing the cliche assignment.
